What is egg freezing?

It is a procedure based on a controlled ovarian stimulation protocol similar to IVF. After oocyte retrieval, mature eggs are vitrified using an ultra-fast process that prevents crystal formation and preserves their biological quality. They remain stored in liquid nitrogen for as long as necessary, until the patient decides to use them.

When can it be recommended?
